A very busy weekend for the DCAL girls saw them handing out leaflets for the British Heart Foundation in Dover, whose two local premises provide quality household goods and furniture at reasonable prices with revenues going to research heart disease.

On Monday 18 June, Kevin Cameron, a car dealer from Canterbury Road, Lydden, pleaded guilty to an offence related to advertising vehicles for sale on the highway. He was fined £600 and ordered to pay £100 costs.
