Megger is set to transform its business in Dover after full planning permission was granted for a multi-million pound investment in the company's HQ, including a new manufacturing building, product development and marketing facilities, a customer training facility and a heritage centre with historic displays.

Around 50 officers from a whole range of enforcement and community safety agencies took part in a major operation in Dover Town Centre on Tuesday to listen to and take action on issues that mattered to local communities.

The clock tower at Buckland Mill has long been part of the townscape of the northern end of Dover and thanks to developer, Gillcrest Homes, the iconic clock, which dates back to 1831 is now working again following a restoration.
