I have a horrible feeling that the UK citizens YES voters plus the eligible voters that are here from the EU will automatically vote to stay in, so those of us UK voters who want out will be out numbered.
It will take a lot more than the present paltry offering from Cameron to change my mind.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

According to reports Cameron is already putting pressure on back benchers to vote "remain" even though they may have promised their constituents they would vote "leave". I feel that such a momentous issue should be a matter of personal conscience not a party political matter. The long term future of the country should be paramount.

Charlie doesn't really have a choice in the matter having been pro Dave since the moment he got elected. He is now in a position as whip to tell others who are Eurosceptic to vote "Remain". The party will be at war the closer it gets to voting day and Charlie is in a no-win situation.

PLease bear in mind that this was said when it was just a single market, compare that with the Labour EU supporters of today who happily announce the benefits of being in are slightly cheaper air fares? and cheaper roaming charges when using mobile phones abroad!! How cheaply will some sell their country out for.

Thanks for reminding me Brian about the other "benefits" we enjoy. The Labour leader of the "remain" campaign talks about workers rights brought in by the EU. Holiday entitlement is still behind the other major countries as is statutory sick pay. We never had zero hour contracts before we joined and wages have come down thanks to their free movement of labour.

This chap wasn't bothered a while back whether we stayed or left now he wants us to stay, also points out that Cameron's reforms basically mean nothing. The only sticking point to the out campaign that I can see is that they seem to be fighting among themselves.

As an undecided, ready to listen to arguments but a big fan of Liam Fox, I was intrigued to listen to Rob Wainwright , Head of Europol at the unearthly hour of 0430hrs BBC1. Well worth a trawl through iplayer to view. Adds another dimension to the security issue.

It will be shown again on bbc news channel at 20.30 and at 00.30 this evening. I thought it a little scaremonger-ish that European security agencies would perhaps not be so keen to share intelligence with us!

Totally disagree Paul he was just talking up his job. How come since 2004 convicted criminals have moved freely around Europe to commit more crimes? The atrocity in France could have been avoided if other police forces/security agencies had shared information, particularly Belgium. We have had a million people from countries outside the EU enter in the past year with many more forecast to come, none of those originating countries will share information especially if they are getting shot of people they don't want.

Don't disagree with your assessment Reg. Certainly thought provoking. Adds another dimension to how far we are integrated into Europe.

What intelligence should Belgium have shared that could have prevented the attacks Howard, I'm sure France would still be interested, or have I missed a major news story?

To my mind both campaigns have been unconvincing and rather lacklustre up to this point, but I have a suspicion that will change as the clock ticks down.

Good Evening John and Paul.May I say that it is good that our elected representives are giving their thoughts on this important issue. May it continues. Our democracy is better served by the elected representives whether they are MPs or Councillors to listen to the people
