Ros Atkins is a breath of fresh air and seems to be the only BBC journo prepared to challenge the government on their version of events

Gently as we go here - Boris is now toxic among his MPs and his star fallen. Push too hard now and get rid, you end up with a competent Sunak ahead of 2024. Now, if I'm thinking that, so will Tory MPs....
The time is now for Starmer; with a new front bench and a government all over the place, he now needs to present his vision for a better future.

Sadly the front bench (and hence the most likely successors to our current habitual liar of a leader) are all servile lickspittles who have helped foist this blithering hypocrite upon the populace in the first place.
They did nothing about 'eyetest' Cummings or 'hands, face, arse' Hancock when the facts emerged. Some may be jockeying for position but I see no reason why that should fill anyone with any comfort.
At a local level, I wonder how 'spineless' Natalie will react. She'll probably keep schtum, I suspect. Just keep blaming asylum seekers and the French and she's on a pretty easy wicket.

Shouldn’t this posting be on the joke page?

The fact that the murder of Tory MP Sir David Amess or someone trying to blow up a Women's Hospital didn't get half as much media attention as a year old Tory Christmas party tells you all you need to know about our country. Absolutely pathetic

The party was completely and utterly wrong, Bob. There's no debate to be had.

I mean the Labour front bench is now decent. Big hitters in place. There are still good politicians in the Tory party - and Sunak will appoint them. You wouldn't get Nadine Dorries on the front bench, for example.

You really do show your true colours on here sometimes, don't you?
Why is is pathetic to expect our leading legislators to conform to the same standards as they impose on us? It's a lot more pathetic to swallow outright lies because that suits your political devotion.
As I've said before, the murder of anyone (and indeed any elected MP) is abhorrent. It's only you that repeatedly infests this forum to differentiate in accordance with your bigoted beliefs.

Or, rather, all one expects from our media.

At the time of those awful incidents the media coverage was extensive, maybe you did not manage to catch it all on your watery travels. Meanwhile Boris and his pals have been shown up yet again as a useless bunch who think they can do as they like, hopefully his days at the top are numbered.

Brian
As you keep changing your mind
Supporting labour then not depending on the debate , your sounding a bit like Boris lol
Neil
I am glad you feel labours front bench is credible
As maybe as iv been saying for two years or more
Around here (and watching results across the country )
People have no more time for labour than they have got Boris or his Govt.
After all his time as leader this lack of credibility hadn't changed .
This should be of serious concern to the major opposition .
